Electroform adds Arburg
Electroform partnered with Injection Molding Machine maker Arburg
at the National Plastics Exhibition (NPE) 2009 at McCormick Place in
Chicago, IL, to demonstrate an integrated in-mold assembly and decorating
system. This cell demonstrates new technology that can reduce overall costs
to manufacture, improve quality, and eliminate capital equipment
expenditures for secondary operations equipment and labor involved in other

Electroform adds Engel e-max to its stable
Electroform Co. Inc. (Rockford, IL), a manufacturer of multicavity high-end injection molds for the consumer, medical, and packaging markets, has installed an Engel e-max 110-ton all-electric press in its R&D facility. Electroform specializes in building molding/manufacturing cells, and recently completed a Class 100,000 cleanroom cell for a major medical manufacturer.

IMx: The new race to do everything in the mold

7th International Conference & Exhibit MOLDING 2007 held at the Omni in Austin, TX, on February 19th, 2007, is The #1 Conference On High-Value Injection Molding Technologies. Wade was invited to speak on “Understanding the Uses and Benefits of In-Mold Technology”.
